Policies & Terms – Group Yoga Classes

By booking and attending a class, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are in place to ensure a safe, fair, and high-quality experience for all participants.

  • Yoga is a physical activity and, as with any form of exercise, carries risk of injury. By attending classes, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

    You confirm that:

    • You are physically fit to participate in yoga classes.

    • You have consulted your GP where necessary.

    • You assume full liability for your own health (and that of your baby if pregnant) when you participate in a yoga class.

    • You are aged 18+.

    You agree to:

    • Work within your own limits.

    • Modify or rest when needed.

    • Inform the instructor of any injuries, conditions or concerns before each class.

    • Stop or make an adjustment if something feels painful.

    • All classes must be booked in advance.

    • Payment is required at the time of booking.

    • Your space in class is only confirmed once payment has been received.

    Spaces are limited and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Information on how the information and data that you provide can be found in the privacy policy.

  • To ensure fairness and availability for all clients:

    • Cancellations must be made at least 7 hours before the class start time.

    • Cancellations made within 7 hours will be charged in full and not be refunded.

    • Failure to attend a booked class (“no-show”) will not be refunded.

    This policy applies in all circumstances unless otherwise stated.

    • Refunds will only be issued if a class is cancelled by the instructor

    In exceptional circumstances (e.g. injury or illness), discretion may be applied, but this is not guaranteed.

  • Classes may occasionally need to be:

    • Rescheduled.

    • Cancelled.

    • Taught by a different instructor.

    Where possible, advance notice will be given.

    If a class is cancelled by the instructor:

    • You will be offered a transfer or credit

    • A refund may be provided where appropriate

    Liability is limited to the cost of the class only.

  • To maintain a positive experience for all:

    • Please arrive on time.

    • Late arrivals may not be permitted once the class has begun.

    • Mobile phones should be silenced.

    • Respect the space, instructor, and other participants.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law:

    • Participation is at your own risk.

    • The instructor is not liable for injuries or harm sustained during class, except where caused by negligence.

    • The instructor is not liable for hazards that you may encounter whilst practising yoga outdoors.

    • Personal belongings are brought to class at your own risk.

  • By booking a class, you confirm that:

    • You have read and understood these policies.

    • You agree to be bound by them.

Stretching Horizons Yoga reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time, which it may consider necessary. Any such changes will be published on the website.
